Description

SEAL Team/i> is a new military drama that follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high stakes missions our country can ask of them. Jason Hayes is the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior's existence. His team includes his trusted confidant, Ray, the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand, and Sonny, an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies. Undergoing additional rigorous training in the hope of joining Hayes' select unit is Clay Spenser, a young, multi-lingual second generation SEAL with insatiable drive and dedication. Vital to the team's success are CIA analyst Mandy Ellis, who has sacrificed everything in her drive to root out evil and take down terrorists, and Davis, a no-nonsense, take-charge logistics officer and unofficial den mother responsible for outfitting the team with the necessary gear for each mission. Deployed on clandestine missions worldwide at a moment's notice, and knowing the toll it takes on them and their families, this tight-knit SEAL team displays unwavering patriotism and fearless dedication even in the face of overwhelming odds.

This show need a little less of this home drama and more of the action. Because thay don't blend very well as it is right now. great show but need to be more action, and less of trying to build a back (home) story. other than that its great!!!!!!!!!

Cliche, over the top stories, and wooden acting. This TV show is just plain ridiculous and nonsensical in its premise, characters, and execution. Enough of theses TV shows that over-hype the plot and characters to the point that we have stories and characters that resemble an episode of the 1980’s GI Joe cartoons. The produces might as well call the bad guys Cobra.
  • Character driven military drama with great cast

Surprised by how good SEAL Team is. David Boreanaz is bringing his A game playing Jason Hayes - a Tier One SEAL who is the best of the best at work, while struggling personally at home. Had the show only been military battles & missions (that are nevertheless well staged & varied), I would have checked out. Instead, the show weaves the difficult work they do with great scenes between the SEALs and poignant moments with their loved ones. It makes me care about everyone involved. Other standouts: Neil Brown, Jr., Jessica Pare, & Max Thieriot.

I like the dog. Wish they'd focus more on the missions and not on contrived personal conflicts (at home and in the field). Think about examples of how men bond on the missions, then if there is a conflict, it is more dramatic. This is fresh material so don't cliche it up with arguments we've seen a hundred times in other TV shows.
