  • You've got to be kidding me

If you want to lose respect for yourself as a modern gay man, watch this series. Besides being weak in every aspect of production, this series shows the worst of stereotypical gay culture. To call it cliche, would be flattering. It is insulting to the evolution of gay culture and even in it's panicked feeble attempts, it fails to have a single redeeming quality. The guys are petty, drunk, steroid-driven and superficial. No wonder why this perpetuated sterotypical image of our culture continues to set us all back as the rest of us strive for progressive integration and equality. What a waste.
  • Very disappointed

I had high hopes. Six attractive men enjoying the summer on Fire Island and each other's company, parties, the arts. Sounded promising. And Khasan and Jorge are very likable and interesting; and if there was more about them the show would be worth it. As it is however, there is a whole lot of attention given to ridiculous spats and manufactured drama amongst the less interesting housemates. Makes it pretty forgettable and a sad waste of time and money.
