  • Family friendly, cute, a delight to watch

Love this show very much! It has a great plot, and seeing Rapunzel handling royal life with new adventures is a pleasure to watch! When I first saw the show, I was thinking it was a cheap new version of Tangled. But NO! Eventually you will get used to the new animations, and plot. Overall, great show for kids, and childish adults.

    My favorite movie
  • A worthy continuation so far

I was very dubious about this show initially, fearing it would be redundant at best and an insult to the original movie at worst. However, I'm happy to say that the first episode was a delight. It feels like a seamless continuation of the movie, with all the humor and heart intact. (And Eugene is hilarious as always.) The obvious difference is in the animation style, but once you get used to it being 2D, it's surprisingly enjoyable. It doesn't feel cheap--it's detailed and beautiful. Not quite the same as the breathtaking 3D visuals of the movie, but for a TV show, it's very, very good. The big sticking point for most people--the return of Rapunzel's hair--is handled cleverly, introducing an intriguing mystery which leaves the viewer eager to watch further installments. I give the pilot episode 9/10. If the show can keep up this level of quality, I think Tangled fans will have every reason to rejoice.

I watched the first episode and I was blown away. It was so family friendly, and so cute. Disney Channel should be making more shows like this.

I really hope that this series is going to be good. I have watched a Disney channel show in a while, but I love tangled. I'm going to give it a try and watch the first episode tomorrow. Everything I have seen so far looks good.
