Barack Obama launched into our national consciousness at the 2004 Democratic National Convention and ever since, he's delivered messages of patriotism, unity, and hope through the power of words. But of all the speeches he's given, six in particular may ultimately define him as one of the greatest writers and orators the White House has ever known. Interviews with eminent historians and accounts from key figures in his writing process provide rare insights into these iconic speeches, as well as the Obama presidency and the man himself.

  • A propaganda puff piece

    By yellowshoe
This movie gets the propaganda award . Barack Obama is easily one of the worst Presidents we have ever had . ONLY A LIBERAL would look you in the eye and tell you that a man who used race to divide Americans every single chance he got , a man who left us with a 13 trillion dollar debt , a man who used out clandestine services to spy on his political enemies, a man who used to IRS against his political enemies - THEN LIED ABOUT IT , is a great leader . This movie is absurd and pathetic as the political party Obama belongs to, save your money !

After dropping 100,000 tons of bombs on human beings, and plunging our country into even worse tyranny than Bush, after killing over 500,000 people in the middle east, you are seriously promoting a biased piece of propaganda for this criminal? Shame on you, Apple! And stay out of politics!
  • The power of words written for him

    By MiniMickeyman
He didn;t write anything he said. He was simply a man that was so deluded he never realized he was so far over his head he made Bush look competent. No President lied more than Obama.

Obama was a powerful orator, and through this Smithsonian documentary we go in depth in to some of his more popular speeches. He was a wonderful speaker and cared about what he said. For those hesitant due to the review, please remember you can write iTunes reviews for items you do not purchase, so I do recommend this as a in-depth look at one of history's greatest presidents if your interested in Presidential history.
