Season 2 of Nexo Knights is dismal, to summarize it in 1 word. The hero characters are 2-D in their character development, which is a sharp contrast to the stellar character development in the Season 1. The villains are far better than the heroes in Season 2, having some idea of what they're doing and providing compelling plot details and storyline. The storyline of Season 2 was mostly equally dismal. The only episode that was decent, nay, good enough for repeated viewing was the episode "Open Mike Knight". In the beginning it was slow, but it rewarded viewers with real questions at the end. It had a storyline that was compelling and competently done. Some of the hero characters echoed their Season 1 selves, and the one of the villains gets closer to redemption, but his efforts get blackballed by both his partner, the book of evil, and a familiar influence. In conclusion, the only episode worth buying is "Open Mike Knight". All others merely explain some details in the story.
