With magic returned to the world, the Librarians are needed now more then ever. An ancient spell has brought some of the greatest fictional villains off the page, led by Shakespeare’s Prospero and as he seeks to remake the world in his own vision, it is up to the Librarians to stop him - or the world will never be the same.

I love this show! It's like a live action smart fun mix of Raiders of the Lost Ark meets Looney Tunes in the Twilight Zone! This season was even more literary creative genius media than the first great season. And I'm stoked about season 3! <3

If you love the season, go for it. It's my favorite show so buying it was an easy decision. If you didn't love all the episode and are only buying the full season for the extras, though, DON'T. The Directors 3-5 minute interviews are worthless and angering compared to last season's The Writers. Instead of letting the directors say what they wanted to say like the writers did, this year an irritating woman who must have been someone's niece was leading the interviews. She strikingly did not seem to grasp that this show is a comedy and asked the directors idiotic questions that strongly suggested she hadn't even watched the show, while giving them complements that were almost insults in their tone deafness. She noted one episode was "thrilling". None of the episodes are thrilling. They are funny. Has she also never heard of being type cast? She actually managed to annoy Jonathan Frakes; he realized quickly that she hadn't watched or couldn't follow the show, he let her ramble, then he said whatever he wanted to say. Worse, after Noah Wylie started to say that yes of course one episode is "The Doctor's Wife" and explain WHY that type of episode was necessary, she interrupted to say she knew it! Good for you, idiot woman. How clever. No one else made the connection...unless they also saw the Doctor's Wife. (I'd also wager this woman didn't actually understand the significance of title of that Doctor Who ep if she can't follow The Librarians: the TARDIS wasn't the Doctor's wife, the TARDIS WAS THIRSTY!!!!!!! Figure it out.) Better yet, shut up and let Noah Wylie talk. Nope. Out of time. She also asked Wylie what it was like, in an ep halfway through the season, to finally meet the actor playing Moriarty. Lazy Idiot Woman: they had multiple scenes together in the first episode! Thank you for insulting Noah Wylie to his face by showing how unmemorable you found his performance in the first episode. Yeah, he didn't shut down after you said that at all. Why were these people interviewed by a nobody who wasn't at least a fan? A random FAN of the show selected off the street wouldn't have made such obvious mistakes and might have asked questions that FANS WHO ARE BUYING THE SHOW would have wanted to hear. The extras were annoying and insulting to me, as I wanted to hear what the directors had to say NOT watch how they reacted to stupid questions while annoyed, and insulting to the directors because this woman didn't bother to watch the episodes, couldn't follow them, didn't understand that the show is a comedy, or all three. If this was the best they could do, they shouldn't have included them at all. I suffered through the interviews of a few episodes before just deleting the rest in disgust. You had one job (other than prop master on four things I've never heard of) Cat O'Grady: watch the episode before talking to the directors. You didn't do it. This woman should have been dismissed after her first interview. A few were only three minutes long. Jonathan Frakes could have easily just talked to a camera without someone demonstrating her ignorance. Why did they do ten like this? Who greenlighted that? You won't learn anything other then the fact that a woman named Cat O'Grady exists and that she doesn't watch or can't follow this tv show. Buy this season because you like at least 9 of the 10 episodes. Don't buy this season for the extras. TNT, how about releasing some NEW extras to replace that infuriating rubbish?

We love the show. Glad they did;t shelve this one! It’s a bit camp, sure, but it keeps one smiling. They need to keep the ensemble alive and give them some real character development this season, and please, let Flynn find real love. The poor character has been around for decades now without a serious relationship. It’s inhuman! As note by others, good clean fun (a hard thing to find in Portland!). Let’s hope this season is a real ‘page turner’ … a brand new chapter for new Librarians! So far, it’s been fun from cover to cover.
  • Ready for Season 2.

I am so happy to see the return of The Librarians. It’s so hard these days to find a show that has a little bit of everything to interest the whole family. With mild kissing scenes as the most sexual behavior, I’m ok with my 8 year old daughter watching this show and the action/problem solving keep my 12 year old son interested. Keep it coming!!
