Description

Illumination, who brought moviegoers Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, and the biggest animated hit of 2015, Minions, continues the story of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3. After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down Balthazar Bratt, the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother—a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps—one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.

Listen, the movie wasn’t awful, but I would not buy it on digital or blu-ray. If there’s a good joke you already saw it in the trailers. Don’t get me wrong. I didn’t fall asleep or anything, but if they made a 4th one, I can guarantee you I will not be stepping into the theater.

The first one was cute, new, funny and fresh The second one declined but not too much but this 3rd part is unwatachable. There is _nothing_ new and 99% of the gags arent funny at all

I love the Despicable Me series & this might be my favorite one yet! I saw this in 3D in the theater & it was a very fun movie overall! Planning on buying the 4K version soon! I recently bought a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player & this would be a great addition! There's also a 4th movie in the works which is awesome!

I love this movie so much because usually Gru is the one making the trouble but Dru makes a whole lot of trouble😂😂😂

I'm not sure why this movie did not get more acclaim! I heard that is was not that good, so I took me a while to get around to watching it. Me and my family laughed our way through this. These are the characters we all love, and the story is funny and engaging. We watched it in 4D and it is amazing. Great 80s music with the villan. I love the allusion to Spy vs. Spy at the end as well. Awesome job!!!

  • It's fun, but not so fun you forget it's the 3rd one

Usual tounge in cheek fun with Gru/Lucy to engage the older viewer, but Agnes steals the show. Surprise: Margo really develops into an interesting character; I'd expect the next film to focus on her more than the other girls. It's good fun for the family. We liked it.
  • Total waste of money and time

While the Despicable Me 1&2 were really humorous at times, this movie is a total waste of time and money. Unable to view more than 20 minutes at a time, the 'humor' in this movie is unbearbly infantile. Do not know who directed this one, but do human kind a favor and please find another job.

This is one of the greatest franchises ever! I love Gru and the minions!
  • Watchable but little heart

It's a watchable movie, but it has little of the heart of the prior movies. Gru's interactions with his new-found brother take the predictable turns, but at the expense of reducing the girls, Lucy, and the minions to distracting sub-plots with little bearing on the story. This is unfortunate, too, because their adversary is one of the best parodies of 80s-90s sitcoms ever created. DM has reached the point of "TOO MANY CHARACTERS," and giving them all screen time simply creates a jumbled mess. DM3 is a collection of fan-service scenes or a cynical cash grab....and unfortunately, probably signals the end of the franchise.
