Chris Evans delivers a great performance as an uncle trying raise his brilliant niece ( after her mother committed suicide). The story is well paced, with humor and intensity and it makes brilliance something to be valued and nurtured, not just exploited. I watched this with my daughters and it made me want to hold then close because being loved for who you are, not what you can accomplish, is what matters most.

Plot of a gifted child being torn between childhood and advance knowledge. Chris Evans does a great job of acting playing the uncle and Jenny Slate is wonderful as the love interest. Touching and sweet, but you never second guess the plot. Worth the rent.

Such a well written movie. I loved every bit of it. Cried quite a bit (won’t give any parts away) but I definitely would recommend this movie. ❤️

Normally ,if the Rotten Tomatoes give a high rating I want to avoid it as they seem to posess a warped sense of artistic cinematography. This is a rare occasion where they seem to have gotten it right and I agree with them. Today'smovies are typically designed for the "Core Curriculum" graduate; lots of special effects. absence of continuity etc. This movie has a good storyline, intrigue, and characters that you can identify with. It is real life in a way that the audience can relate to and has several messages. My wife who normally falls asleep half way through a movie stayed awake and gave it two thumbs up. It is a refreshing to find good entertainment in todays environment where the lowest common denominator seems to be the target audience. My advice rent it.
